Waterman & Jae provides turn-key solutions for residential estate sales. Since we have no other no other businesses, interests, or warehouses, our goal is to hold profitable estate sales and to sell as much of your merchandise as possible. When the time comes to sell your estate, we will handle everything and make the process easy for you. If we hold the sale at your home, it's best that you leave the sorting, cleaning, and organizing to us. Therefore, the only thing you need to do is to determine which items you'd like to keep.

Sales can be conducted in the owner's home or moved to another location. Using our extensive knowledge of collectibles, furniture, and household items, merchandise is appropriately priced in order to maximize the value of your estate. We have various experts at our disposal who specialize in jewelry, artwork, specialty antiques, electronics, and rugs. If needed, we consult with them to properly assess your belongings.

To promote your sale, we take digital pictures of key items. These images are placed onto our website and used in e-mail promotions to our large list of repeat customers who follow our estate sales. We also post your sale and merchandise pictures onto estatesales.net. To further increase your sale's exposure, we post signs in your neighborhood and on busy nearby streets in order to direct motorists to your sale.

During the sale, owners Bitsy and Sher are present, along with additional WJ Estate Sales staff. We constantly straighten and re-arrange items to maximize visibility to buyers. After the sale is complete, you have the option of selling any remaining items to a liquidator, which we will we handle for you. Any trash is removed, leaving you with a clean house and your piece of mind.

Only have a few items to sell? Are you downsizing or de-cluttering in order to simplify your life? WJ Estate Sales performs partial, as well as complete sales. Therefore, we can take your smaller lot of items and group them with another sale, in order to maximize visibility and profitability. By combining sales, your merchandise will receive greater exposure because some buyers will be drawn to the sale due to the variety of items available. And, since they will be busy looking at many items, it will keep them at the sale longer which gives us a better chance to sell your items.

• Sales can be conducted in the owner's home or moved to another location. They can be performed either prior to or after the sale of the home. A minimum of two weeks preparation time is required in order to hold an estate sale.
• Each item is cleaned and evaluated. If needed, linens are washed and ironed, silver is polished, and costume jewelry is repaired (if possible). You don't need to do any preparation for the sale. Just leave the sorting, cleaning, and organizing to us.
• Using our extensive knowledge of antiques, collectibles, furniture, and household items, merchandise is appropriately priced in order to maximize the value of your estate. We have various experts at our disposal who specialize in jewelry, artwork, specialty antiques, electronics, and rugs.
• Items are tastefully merchandised by draping tables and grouping them to create the most appealing visual presentation. Special display cases are used for the security of small or valuable objects. Furniture is re-arranged in order to allow for good traffic flow throughout the house. We provide the display racks and tables.
• To promote your sale, we take pictures of key items. These images are placed onto our website and used in email promotions to our large list of customers. To further increase your sale's exposure, we advertise your sale on estatesales.net.
• Your neighbors are notified about the sale and any required permits are secured. If needed, we put up no parking signs on one side of the street, in accordance with city regulations. On the morning of the first day of the sale, directional signs are placed throughout your neighborhood.
• After the estate sale is complete, you have the option of selling any remaining items to a liquidator, which we will we handle for you. Any trash is removed, leaving you with a clean house and your piece of mind.
